About Me
Bio
Kenneth Rowe is a native New Yorker who has been living and working in New York City his entire life.
While his roots are in fashion and fine art documentary work, he has recently begun a promising career in commercial and advertising photography. His unique eye and exceptional ability to capture color in new and exciting ways are what make his images real works of art. Kenneth's creativity and attitude towards photography give him a refreshing new style that is seldom seen in today's photographic world.
Kenneth attended New York University where he studied Journalism and Mass Communications. While there he freelanced as a photographer shooting editorial, and fashion assignments including the famous "Seventh on Sixth" fashion week shows in NYC. He graduated in 1998 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications, but decided to pursue a photography career rather than traditional journalistic pursuits.
Soon after graduation he took a position with award winning advertising photographer Eric Meola managing the studio and assisting him with his personal project titled "The Last Places on Earth" while continuing to shoot freelance assignments.
Currently he is shooting his own assignments for clients that include several fashion and music clients, as well as, many design and advertising firms. In addition to shooting he also provides consulting and imaging services to both photographer and corporate clients. Most recently he has also begun to do print and web design work in addition to his other endeavors.
Kenneth is a member of several trade organizations including the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), and the Long Island Film Association (LIFA).
